For two-year-olds
Two-year-olds have inexhaustible energy, love exploring the world around them and are becoming more autonomous and independent.
From this age they develop a sense of self and learn many new skills: running without falling, going up and down the stairs, kicking the ball and maintaining balance. In addition, their vocabulary increases and they begin to say sentences of two or more words.
Games should offer them the opportunity to practice their new skills: sorting and classifying objects by shape or color, imitating adult actions, playing with other children, following two or three step instructions, and expressing emotions. Next we leave you with a special selection of games for the youngest children to learn while having fun.

The time between 24 and 36 months of age is the beginning of the child's personal autonomy. Thanks to their greater psychomotor skills, they are able to explore the world and socialize with other children.
What two-year-olds are like
Each child matures at his or her own pace. A child who is independent and adventurous on the swings is as normal as another child of the same age who still needs his mother to climb him. As a rule, a two-year-old can walk and run on his or her own, and even hold several objects and attend other stimulations while on the move. She can open doors, climb on furniture, imitate adults, eat alone, browse books and jump on her limp leg. His fine motor skills are developed to hold a pencil or crayon and paint scribbles.
They also need to socialize with other children, however, they are already possessive of toys and will not want to share them or respect the rules of the games. Temper tantrums in children reach their peak at this age because of the child's desire to possess, especially if an adult is frustrated by an exploratory trip.
Toys for children from 2 to 3 years old
One of the best forms of learning is repetition of activities and sequencing. Routines allow you to begin to have a temporal conception and to know what time of day you are at gives you security. It also helps parents to teach their child when it's time to eat or sleep.
The 2-year-old learns through play and is now able to plan for it. When allowed to develop his creative side, he gains in confidence and improves his skills. It also increases their vocabulary exponentially, and parents should take advantage of any time in their routine to stimulate them, ask them what they see during walks or about their mood.
His intelligence allows him to play with building blocks, and he learns new shapes through trial and error. He responds to simple commands, you can talk to him briefly, he knows your name and the pronouns: \Mine\" and \"I\" are part of his vocabulary.
As it grows, you will need other types of stimuli, so at the Akros store you can find educational toys for children from 3 to 6 years old, from 6 to 8 years old and even specific for the elderly.
